Reusable Produce Bags:

I love reusing bags but didn’t like having to wash out my plastic bags to use again. So I sat down with my sewing machine and some pretty fabric and within a half an hour had myself some new bags to take shopping. When they get to dirty, a quick wash in the washing machine and we are ready to go again. Our local library partnered up with our trash collector and held an event to make reusable produce bags, they had over 100 people show up.

Beginner Tip:

If you cannot sew, buy some bags, they are worth the investment. Otherwise you can youtube how to sew bags, it is one of the easiest things to make.
