To trust other to help:

Collin didn’t want to do the morning dance at his school because a few of his friends said he could not be in their club if he did. Collin really liked to do the morning dance and when he told me this I was hurt, but all I could do was just listen and wait. A few weeks later another parent, who had heard the story about what Collin’s friends had said, invited him to dance. Collin decided too and after dance that morning he went back up to the parent and thanked them for encouraging him to dance, he had had a good time.

Beginners Tip: Find other adults in children’s lives to invite them to do the things they love. When it only comes from you it can not be received so well, but when other caring adults encourage our children it sinks in different.
