Riding in the Rain:
The other day I was about to take off to go run a bunch of errands in town and pick up my children from school when it started to dump rain. I put on my woolies, got out the water proof bag covers and loaded up. My glasses where covered in rain drops and I stepped in a huge puddle soaking my shoe and sock. I was out for about three hours, making many stops and getting my children, who also become soaking wet. It poured the whole time. Yet, when we got home, we got to take off our wet clothes, warm in a bath and put on dry, cozy clothes and drink yummy, warm tea. I feel so lucky to have a dry, warm place to come home too. It helps us be able to live a life without a car.
Beginner Tips:
With a wool layer next to your skin, even if you are wet you can still be warm.
