How not owning a car really simplified my life:

Without a car and only having a bike, bus, or my feet to get me to things, it has been much easier to say no to all the wonderful events that happen all the time around me but are too far to get to without a car or would take to much time to get too. We live in a community where there are so many wonderful things to do, but if I were to try to ride my bike to them all, it would take to long, so we don’t, and we stay home and my children really are happy getting to know their neighbors and neighborhood. To a young child a block is a really big place.

Beginners Tip:

Say no to one cool thing you could go too and instead take a walk around your neighborhood or take that time to play in your own yard.
